ARTIST PROFILE
About Allison Albright
As a child I loved receiving a fresh pad of sketch paper and a new box of crayons. There is nothing like the smell of a brand new box of crayons. The possibilities for creating seemed limitless as I rolled a waxy crayon in my fingers.
As an adult I am rediscovering and deepening my love for creating.
Though mostly self-taught, I took several art classes in college as electives while pursuing a completely different field.
Throughout the years I have enjoyed painting as a creative outlet.
As a pharmacist, I appreciate the effect of medication therapy on the human body. As an artist, I believe art is therapeutic to the human spirit. My art is therapeutic by design.
I have completely immersed myself in watercolors and acrylics. I enjoy the fluidity and softness of watercolors contrasted by the vivid colors of acrylic paints.
Once again, the possibilities seem endless!
